Working seven days a week, I ensure constant availability to address your concerns, whether through calls, social media, or in-person engagements. My commitment has been demonstrated through countless honorary resolutions, community grants, legislative advocacy, and proactive problem-solving on issues ranging from affordable housing and public safety to community development and land use. As your next County Executive, I will continue this unwavering dedication, enhancing accessibility, supporting community organizations, engaging with residents, and providing transparent communication. My extensive experience and leadership roles at local and national levels, including active participation in the National Organization of Counties and the White House Engagement, position me to effectively serve and improve the quality of life for all New Castle County residents. I work seven days a week, from early morning until late at night, with all my calls forwarded from my office phone to my cell phone to ensure I am always available for you. My commitment to New Castle County residents has been unwavering, and I promise to continue this practice as your next County Executive.

The New Castle County Government provides a wide array of essential services to our constituents, and I have been at the forefront of supporting, advocating for, writing, and sponsoring legislation to enhance these services. Over the past eight years, I have written and presented hundreds of honorary resolutions and tributes, recognizing the achievements and contributions of our residents and organizations.
Community Engagement
Conducting County issue tours, assisting communities with legislation that addresses their needs, and working closely with Civic Associations, organizations, and individuals on complex problems affecting their communities have been central to my role.
Community Grants
I have presented numerous grants to a diverse array of non-profits and community organizations in need, ensuring they have the resources to continue their vital work.
Legislative Advocacy
I have strongly advocated for legislation important to the residents of New Castle County, serving as a strong voice for your concerns. I have listened, drafted, and passed legislation addressing a wide variety of important issues and concerns.
Problem Resolution
From alleviating flooding issues and resolving tax problems to addressing affordable housing, park issues, crime, land use, farmland, rezonings, public safety concerns, homelessness, substance abuse, sewer problems, and neighbor conflicts, I have been dedicated to finding resolutions and positive outcomes for our constituents.

I have presided over Council and Committee Meetings as Co-Chair of Public Safety and formerly as Co-Chair of Economic Development.
Delaware Association of Counties and More
I am also a Director of the Delaware Association of Counties and a member of the National Council of County Association Executives, the Delaware League of Local Governments, and the National League of Cities.
National Organization of Counties
As an active member, I have served on eleven committees, addressing a wide range of public issues at both local and national levels.

My participation in the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs and the White House Partnerships Office Faith and Community Engagement Weekly Briefing calls underscores my ability to navigate and influence policy discussions at the highest levels of government.
